For people who have activated their Google Assistant on Android, you can actually make calls without dialing numbers. Yes, just the usual Ok, Google bla bla bla command.
Google also has something very similar to quick dialing. You assign sepecific names to specific contacts and all you need to do is say to Google “Call so and so person”.
For example I can say, Ok Google, Bill Gates is my uncle. And Bill Gates contact will be remembered by Google Assistant as my uncle. And so I can say “Ok Google, call my uncle”.
It’s very simple work. Just activate the Google Assistant by saying “Ok Google”. Go ahead to add a nickname to a contact. Make sure you pronounce the contact as it is stored in your address book. Come back and use the call or text command. Note that there are specific names you are allowed to attach to contacts.
