Few months after releasing the INFINIX Hot S3 into the Nigerian market, Infinix is about to drop Hot 6 Pro and Hot 6 Lite ,  as follow-up to Hot 5.

What we know about the new phones

INFINIX is very close to introduce the new phone, but we’ve been able to fine out a lot of things about the phones from the teasers.

Hot 6 Pro and Hot 6 Lite… Two powerful phones

First, we know that Infinix will be releasing two phones into the Hot 6 line but we still are not sure if both phones will come at the same time. We also do not know much about the budget model of the Hot 6 but we do know that Hot 6 Pro will come with more powerful specs than it’s younger brother. For example…

Dual rear cameras

Just like the INFINIX Zero 5, Infinix Hot 6 Pro will have dual rear cameras.

INFINIX Hot 6 Pro will come with dual cameras one of 13MP and the other one of 2MP. The both cameras should also features the ‘Brokeh Effect’ hence the dual cameras.

The dual cameras should record videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. At the top bezel, the 8MP selfie camera is ready for all your selfie needs. There’s a front LED flash as well for night selfies and video calls.

Processor, OS and Memory

Under the hood is the Snapdragon 425 chip from Qualcomm with a faster 4-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The processor here reaches a clock speed of 1.4 GHz and the Adreno 308 graphics processor from Qualcomm takes care of graphics.

As for the memory, Hot 6 Pro has an edge over Hot 6 in terms of RAM. Hot 6 Pro sports 3GB ram on-board and a 32GB internal memory which can readily be expanded by SD card up to 128GB.

The both phones ship with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

Hot 6 Pro may not be the first Infinix phone to have a bazel-less display, but it sure is the first budget Hot phone. The 18:9 aspect ratio plus 6.0 HAD display will interest a lot of users.

The screen resolution is as sharp as 720 x 1440 and has a pixel density of 282. Quite impressive if you ask me.

The Infinix Hot 6 Pro is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 4000mAh battery with fast charging technology (Quick charge 3.0).
